A redline is a proposed change that is made to the actual text of the agreement. If a particular section of your agreement has been redlined, you will see a notification in the Terms Summary section:
You will also see the redline in the history log (
), which you can access from the toolbar.
In the agreement text, the proposed changes will be highlighted in red in the current proposed draft.
Note:
- 100% of collaborators/attorneys must agree to a redline before it becomes a permanent part of the agreement.
- For each clause, the most recent redline to be accepted by 100% of your team will replace the original agreement text.
- Redlines that are not accepted by 100% of collaborators/attorneys will not appear in the final version of the agreement or the downloadable PDFs.
- Do not finalize your agreement by using the
button until everyone is ready to sign and there are no further changes.
