A redline is a proposed change that is made to the actual text of the agreement. If a particular section of your agreement has been redlined, you will see a notification in the Terms Summary section:
You will also see the redline in the history log (), which you can access from the toolbar.
In the agreement text, the proposed changes will be highlighted in red in the current proposed draft.
Note:
- 100% of collaborators/attorneys must agree to a redline before it becomes a permanent part of the agreement.
- For each clause, the most recent redline to be accepted by 100% of your team will replace the original agreement text.
- Redlines that are not accepted by 100% of collaborators/attorneys will not appear in the final version of the agreement or the downloadable PDFs.
- Do not finalize your agreement by using the button until everyone is ready to sign and there are no further changes.
