What is a transfer statement?

When the owners (claimants) you have entered do not match the authors you have entered, Cosynd will ask you to provide a transfer statement. A transfer statement explains how a person/company that was an original author transferred their ownership of the copyright(s) to the listed owners.

To complete your registration, select the type of transfer that occurred (by written agreement, by inheritance, by other). If by "other" please describe how this person came into possession of the copyright.
