What is a pseudonym?

A pseudonym is a moniker, stage name, nickname, or alias that a creator users instead of their real name. 

When registering your copyrights, you can register them under a pseudonym only if the author's legal name is not associated with the copyright anywhere else. You cannot register copyrights using both legal names and pseudonyms.
