Only attorneys may redline agreements. You can invite an attorney to redline your agreement by clicking on the invitation icon () from the toolbar. If you are an attorney, your account will automatically be enabled to redline once you register with Cosynd. Be sure to check the box marked "I am an attorney" in your profile settings.
Click on to view the agreement text of the current proposed version and navigate to the section that you want to redline:
1. Place your cursor over the section you want to edit and click "Edit"
2. In the box that appears you can edit the text of this section directly. Enter your changes and click on "Submit." Note, you can submit your redlines in the "View Testing Draft" tab if you're not ready to submit a redline to all parties for consideration.
3. Your redline will appear below the original text of the section for all collaborators to see. To edit or delete your redline, hover your cursor over the text and click on "Edit" or "Delete."
4) Scroll down to the very end of this page and click on "next" to save your changes.
Each collaborator can accept or reject the redline. Each collaborator will need to accept a redline before it can become a permanent part of the agreement. Collaborators can hover over the redline and select "accept" or "reject."
Note: If a change is made, 100% of collaborators/attorneys must agree to it before it becomes a permanent part of the agreement. For each clause, the most recent redline to be accepted by 100% of your team will replace the original agreement text. Changes that are not accepted by 100% of collaborators/attorneys will not appear in the final version of the agreement or the downloadable PDFs.
